Long-term capital for early-stage companies.
PT Ventures invests in companies with clear applications and sustained relevance.
PT Venture Capital is an affiliate of Patterson Thoma Family Office and represents the firm’s early-stage investing activity. We focus on companies developing new technologies in sectors shaped by technical complexity, regulation, and long development cycles.
We invest from within a broader family office platform with experience across asset classes and have a particular interest in areas where innovation has real technical, commercial, or strategic importance.
We view venture investing as a long-term partnership, not just a source of capital. We aim to support founders through strategic input, relevant introductions, and a measured investment perspective as companies grow.
Our structure provides flexibility without a fixed timeline to liquidity. We value alignment, trust founders to lead, and, where relevant, work with CerraCap Impact Ventures on diligence, sector coverage, and early-stage technology opportunity review.
