Dan Patterson founded, acquired, built, and sold many companies during his career, investing in both LBO and growth equity transactions. Highlights include the creation of Medical Weight Management, which achieved ranking on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies in 1988, and the acquisition, growth and subsequent sale of Texas Home Healthcare, at the time the largest home healthcare provider in the Southwest. He founded Transition Capital Partners (TCP) in 1993 which has been active in over 40 transactions since the firm’s inception. Dan also invests in other areas such as early-stage growth equity and real estate and makes charitable gifts through the Patterson Thoma Foundation. Dan earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Kenyon College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Board of Directors for many TCP portfolio and unaffiliated independent companies as well as non-profit foundations.

Celeste Walker serves as the Director of Operational Finance for Patterson Thoma Family Office. Celeste is a Certified Public Accountant and provides accounting, tax, and financial services for the office as well as assists in cash management. Before joining Patterson Thoma, she worked at Deloitte as a tax consultant for hedge funds and investment partnerships. Celeste holds Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
